Welcome to Frictioncomic.com!
A place for our comic and all of the goodies we crafted along the way. Expect world building, character lore, and plenty of secrets to discover.
We've posted chapter 1, colored and lined in all of its glory, to the website! You can find it under the [COMIC] tab.
As for formatting the pages... I'm working on it. Little by little. Soon.
In the meantime we will be potting our finished pages to Comic Fury in the weeks following RICE.

We have a Zaqa (Curious Cat clone) where we accept anonymous questions for Q&A mini comics. Please specify the character's name or names so we know who you're addressing your question to.

[SYNOPSIS]
Vigilantes caught in a war of identity as a deadly super-serum spreads throughout the city. Can they call a truce... or will the friction leave them burned?
Friction takes place in an alternate version of 2004. A technological renaissance where "modding" is the rage. Where heroes are idols and the 462s are treated like filth. Times are changing. People are changing. Whispers of evolution. And a cast trying to navigate through it.
Our story is inspired by comics like Venom, Akira, and Invincible with a splash of gothic horror.
Mature Audiences
Warning for gore, drugs, mental illness, flawed characters, self-destructive behaviors, adult themes, and cannibalism.
[PAST WORKS]
Friction has been in the works for years now. After a few tragic attempts at drawing the first pages we discussed why we were struggling and agreed that we needed to improve specific skills before we'd be comfortable diving in.
Below are our "dummy" comics. They helped us figure out what skills we needed to work on and what we could comfortably fudge.
